How to change favicon in blogger

Favicon is an icon which appears with the name of a site. When you create a blog in blogger platform its icon will be the blogger's default icon as it is a sub-domain on blogger. Favicon gives your blog a professional look.

In this post I'm going to teach you how to change the favicon of your blog. To change the favicon you have to follow the below steps:

(1). First choose a logo or icon which you would like to add to your blog.

(2). If you don't have any logo or icon create one at http://www.pixlr.com, make sure that the logo or icon you create has to be a transparent background.

(3). When your logo is ready go to http://www.resizepic.com , choose the logo which you designed and resize it to 32/30(width/height) because blogger doesn't allow bigger size favicons.

(4). Now Download the re-sized image and go to http://www.blogger.com.

(5). Login to your account and go to Layout.



(6). At the top of layout page you will see edit Favicon and click on choose file now choose the re-sized image and click on save.

How to setup Dot.tk domain to your blogspot account

Step 1 : Go To Freenom.com

Step 2 : Enter your Desired Domain ( you can choose Dot Tk, Dot ml, Dot ga etc) and then check availability. 

Choose your desired domain from the list and click on Get it Now then after > check out

Step 3 : In Domain Registration page, set your domain registration length as 12 months @free . And click on continue

Step 4 : Enter a valid email address and verify it. 

Step 5 : Fill up your account form and click on "Complete Order". 

Note:You must Check/Tick the I have read and agree to the Terms& conditions

Step 6 : Now you'll see your order no. Click on "Click here to go your Client Area". 

Step 7 : Go to "My Domains" page. In this page you'll see your Desired Domain. Now click on "Manage Domain". 

Step 8 : Click on "Manage Freenom DNS". If you get "Zone not active yet" problem then just go to "Management tools" >>> select Nameservers >>> Use Default Nameserver Button and hit Change Nameservers. 

Step 9 : Select “CNAME” from type option and write “www” in Name and “ghs.google.com” in Target. (Don't close this page) 

Step 10 : In a new tab open your Blogger Settings >>> Basic >>> Blog Address. 

Now click on SETUP THIRD PARTY URL FOR YOUR BLOG
Step 11:Enter your New domain which we already registered from freenom.Don't forget to add "www" before your domain name.

Now click on save.

Step 12 : it will display an error similar to the following screenshot below.. Copy the "Name" and "Target".

Step 13 : Open your previous tab and click on "More Records". Enter your copied "Name" and "Target" here. After that Externally we have to add 4 more A records targettig to

Now click on "Save Changes". 

Step 14 : After completion of domain Settings, you have to wait for 3 to 5 minutes and then go to your previous Blogger Setting page and click on Save.

Step 15 : It's all done now. You have successfully setup a Custom URL In your BLOG.
